BodyTite is a radiofrequency assisted liposuction procedure that is comparable to traditional liposuction. Also known as Laser Lipo, it melts fat and tightens skin. Whereas traditional liposuction requires a large cannula and trauma, it can leave skin saggy. With BodyTite, the fat is melted and removed with a small cannula. The radiofrequency heats up the skin tightening collagen bands and firming up skin.
BodyTite can be used on arms, breasts, legs, buttocks and abdomen. It works great at improving the dimpling and lumpiness caused by cellulite.
BodyTite can be used to perform a liposuction and skin tightening for the following problems:
BodyTite liposuction and skin tightening costs £3950 for one area. Each additional area costs £1500 if done during the same session.
Results start to appear immediately after treatment but it takes around 6 weeks for best noticeable results to show. The results keep improving for 3 months after the treatment.
The procedure takes around 2-4 hours. An anaesthetic is injected to completely numb the treatment area. The BodyTite electrode is inserted under the skin through a small incision. The electrode is advanced back and forth while delivering radiofrequency energy to the fat and skin. This makes the fat cells melt and the collagen to tighten. The melted fat is removed using a liposuction cannula. A course of antibiotics is given to prevent any infection.
The downtime with BodyTite is much less than a traditional liposuction. You will have swelling and bruising on the day of the procedure. It is common for some seeping to occur from the incision sites for 2 days. Full recovery can take around 1 week. You can return to work after 3-5 days. You will be required to wear a compression garment for 1-2 weeks.
BodyTite liposuction is a non-surgical procedure with much reduced downtime than traditional liposuction but with comparable results. The results keep improving for three months. The procedure takes around 2-4 hours with full recovery within 1 week. BodyTite not only removes fat but also tightens loose skin which is not possible with traditional liposuction. BodyTite does the following:
The treatment will cause redness, bruising and swelling which recovers within 1 week. The skin will feel tender and numb temporarily after the procedure but simple analgesia like ibuprofen and paracetamol is all that is required. It is common for some seepage to occur from the incision sites for 2 days. You will be required to wear a compression garment for up to 2 weeks. You can return to work after 3-5 days.
The results from BodyTite are visible instantly but best results are seen 3 months after treatment. The result is permanent. The fat will not grow back unless you gain weight.
