Cheek Fillers

What are cheek fillers?

Cheeks fillers are the same as dermal fillers that are stronger in consistency to create a lift. The filler used in the cheeks is firmer to allow contouring and sculpt the cheek bones. It can be placed along the cheek bone to highlight and give definition just like you would try an achieve when highlighting using make-up. The filler can be targeted to the back or front of the face depending on volume loss and the desired look. A needle or cannula technique is used to place the filler. The most common and safest type of filler is one containing hyaluronic acid. This substance is already present in skin and attracts moisture to volumise and define the cheeks. The main brands being Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero and Aliaxin.
