Non Surgical Facelift

What is Non Surgical Facelift and how can it help?

There are many treatments that claim to be a facelift. A true non-surgical facelift and necklift is done using radio frequency assisted liposuction and face tightening called Facetite and NeckTite. For even superior results, permanent Spring Threads can be implanted at the same time giving remarkable lift.

This procedure involves injecting local anaesthetic called tumescent to numb the whole face and neck. Then a small probe is inserted into the fat layer of the face and radio frequency is delivered to heat the skin melting fat and causing the collagen to tighten. If there is excess fat it is aspirated using a cannula. Then a few permanent threads can be implanted into the face that anchor and lift the cheeks, jowls, chin and neck. The permanent threads produce a higher degree of lift than absorbable threads. The threads are then tightened and cut flush with the skin. The threads produce an immediate lift. A compression face garment is given to be used for the next few weeks. The radio frequency delivered by FaceTite then begins to work over the next three months melting fat and tightening collagen bands producing an astonishing result.

What are the benefits of a full Non Surgical Facelift?

The non-surgical facelift aims to correct the following:

  • Lift jowls and facial sagging
  • Reduce double chin
  • Remove turkey neck
  • Contouring the jaw angle and jawline
  • Reduce nose to mouth folds
  • Reduce facial and neck fat

The result of correcting the above issues is that you look:

  • More young
  • More contoured
  • Less tired
  • Less saggy
  • Less angry
  • Less sad

What are the side effects of a Non Surgical Facelift?

These are the same as those for FaceTite and permanent Spring Thread. Its mostly redness, swelling, bruising and some skin dimpling. This is self-limiting and settles within a few days.

What is the downtime with a Non Surgical Facelift?

You need to allow up to 1-2 weeks for the redness, bruising, swelling and skin dimpling to resolve making this a great alternative to surgery.

How long do results from a full Non Surgical Facelift last?

A full non-surgical facelift combines FaceTite, NeckTite and Permanent Spring Threads. This is usually a one-off procedure with results lasting longer than 5 years. This makes it comparable to a surgical facelift which also claims a longevity of around 5 years.

Non-Surgical v Surgical Facelift?

A surgical facelift involves pulling the underlying structures and removing the excess skin. The lifted tissues are then anchored into place. Results from a surgical facelift will last 5-6 years. However, any surgical procedure is associated with a higher level of risk. There is the risk associated with anaesthesia and then the procedure itself. Risks include asymmetry, infection, nerve injury and scarring. The risk of general anaesthesia is confusion, memory loss, waking up during surgery, injury to throat and mouth and carries a fatality risk of 1 in 100,000. The recovery time is 6-8 weeks and most people will need to take time off work. Cost of a surgical facelift in the UK is around £8000 – £10000.

A non-surgical facelift produces an amazing great result in the same type of patients who would be considered for a surgical facelift. Hence it is a true alternative to surgery. The procedure is done in around 3 hours with a short recovery time of 1-2 weeks. The results last over 5 years with no risks of anaesthesia or surgery. Cost is between £3450-£4950.
